With Valentine’s Day this Friday, wanted to share some spots around NYC to help you plan the perfect night! Whether you’re single and having a night with your girls, looking for something casual or the most romantic spots, I’m sharing some of my favorite spots to try! And while some may be booked already for Friday, this is a good reference for your next date night or girls night. Reminder all my travel guides can be found here to help you plan your ideal NYC visit.
ACTIVITIES
Royal Palms Shuffleboard: Looking for a fun group activity on Valentine’s Day? This Williamsburg spot is such a fun place for tiki themed drinks, shuffleboard and board games. Make sure to snap a selfie in the flamingo bathroom too!
Spin: With two locations in the city, this is such a fun spot when you’re looking to do something other than just drinking or dining. I went with a group this past Friday and the space is huge, filled with lounge areas, two bars, great apps and snacks and of course, all the ping pong. They also have their Love Pong event taking place on Valentine’s Day at SPIN 23 with a great drink, food and ping pong deal so reserve now!
Broadway: I love a night on Broadway and it’s the perfect time of year to head to the theater. Some of my favorite shows on Broadway now? Little Shop Of Horrors, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, Beetlejuice, Jagged Little Pill and hoping to see Moulin Rouge soon! Make sure to check my guide on how to find the best tickets.
Gutter Bar: Who says you need to have a fancy night on Valentine’s Day?! Head to Williamsburg for bowling and drinks at this bowling alley/bar. Also a perfect spot for birthday parties in the future!

NIGHT WITH THE GIRLS
Ladybird: If you’re looking for girlie drinks with healthy dinner options, this vegetarian wine bar has some of the prettiest cocktails around. Plus a cute photo opp outside with their painted door!
Bemelmans’s Bar: I love a classic NYC night and there is nothing more old New York feeling than fancy drinks at Bemelmans’s Bar inside The Carlyle Hotel. Cozy up inside while you listen to the piano player and sip on a dirty martini. Ideal Friday night!
Dear Irving: One of the sexiest bars in the city, I love heading here with my girlfriends to catch up on the velvet couches.
Cowgirl: If you’re looking for a more casual night, our favorite spot is Cowgirl. We head here for nachos and a pitcher of their frozen Prickly Pear margaritas and always are guaranteed a fun night.
Marie’s Crisis: The best late nights end at Marie’s Crisis, a very tiny famous Broadway piano bar in the West Village where you can sing-a-long to your favorite show tunes.

ROMANTIC DINING
Palma: It doesn’t get more romantic than this West Village Italian restaurant where you’re surrounded by flowers while enjoying pasta.
The Fulton: A seafood tower and incredible cocktails, try this chic spot at Pier 17. The views of the Brooklyn Bridge are worth the visit alone!
Carbone: The must have reservation, while it will be tricky to go this week, try making an upcoming reservation as a special Valentine’s Day gift. The wait for the spicy rigatoni will be worth it!
Il Brigante: One of my favorite restaurants in the city, this cozy spot in the Seaport has some of the best pasta in New York. Plus its BYOB!
The Waverly Inn: Cozy up by the fire while enjoying a martini and their famous cheeseburger or chicken pot pie at this famous West Village institution.
