Where To Get Cozy In NYC This Winter

Winter is upon us! Once the temperatures drop to freezing cold here in New York, it can be hard to convince friends (and yourself!) to leave the apartment. However, there are so many cute and cozy spots around the city that are ideal for a meal or drink, that it’s worth the chilly (and sometimes snowy) trek! Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite spots around New York City to get cozy and warm in this winter!

WHERE TO GET COZY IN NYC THIS WINTER

The Commerce Inn

Hidden down a quiet street in the West Village, this cozy spot feels like you’ve stepped inside someones home. It’s become a favorite post dinner “final final” spot for a martini or negroni at the end of the night.

Keens Steakhouse

A classic steakhouse is a must meal during the colder months and Keens is my absolute favorite in the city. One of the older restaurants in New York, the wood paneled walls are filled with pipes from famous people when it was a pipe club so you can get a little history lesson while having steak and martinis.

Place des Fetes

Located in Clinton Hill, this neighborhood wine bar is the ideal spot to go on a date or catch up with friends over natural wines and unique small plates.

Vinegar Hill House

This Brooklyn spot is in a tucked away spot that feels like you stepped inside a cozy cottage. A roaring fireplace downstairs, come here for their famous chicken for dinner or brunch and their must have pancake on a snowy morning.

Raf’s

Raf’s is an Italian and French bakery by day and a cozy dinner spot at night. This Nolita restaurant has quickly become a favorite of mine for weekday breakfast meetings and celebrity spotting dinners.

Margaux at The Marlton Hotel

If you’re looking to escape the cold weather with a cocktail in hand, head to this Greenwich Village hotel. An array of velvet and leather furniture are all tucked around a roaring fireplace, such a relaxed spot to catch up with friends.

The Waverly Inn

This is definitely one of those classic NYC dining experiences! Whether you’re just grabbing a drink by the fireplace bar or dining in the back heated garden, this is the perfect place to bring parents or have a romantic date night. I also love their brunch!

The Bar Room at The Beekman Hotel

This hotel bar had become a favorite neighborhood spot when I lived in Fidi because of the incredible décor and perfectly crafted cocktails. It’s a must-visit spot for impressing out of town guests or celebrating with friends.

Tiny’s

How cute is this place? This little pink building in Tribeca is snug and cozy inside, serving healthy dishes and amazing cocktails by a pretty fireplace.
