Trend To Try: Transparent Bags + What’s In My Purse

Living in New York, having your handbag packed properly is key. You never know if your day may be interrupted with a dead phone, a blister or rain so I always make sure I have all my essentials before heading out the door in the morning! And with one of springs biggest trends, there’s no hiding what those essentials are! Transparent handbags is one of the top trends this season, whether with designers like Chanel or brands like Staud and Loeffler Randall trying it out.

I have been loving what a conversation piece it is and how it’s a fun contrast against a classic outfit. I brought it along to my work trip for Vegas as well and it made going through security a lot easier, something I hadn’t even thought about before!

So what are the must haves always in my purse? My slim card case, that makes grabbing my metro card, ID and credit card easy to pull out. My cell phone of course, and my colorful phone case makes it easy to spot in my bag, along with my keys on a colorful pom pom key chain. My favorite pair of sunglasses, the best everyday balm and gloss and then of course emergency essentials like gum, Advil, band-aids and a portable phone charger to make sure I’m always prepared what’s going to happen that day!
