The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale continues today with now open to all of those at the Ambassador Level so for anyone shopping this week, I wanted to share the 10 fall staples I’m shopping for! These are classic items that I wear on rotation during the fall and winter so it’s a great time to take a look in your closet and refresh any pieces. 10 FALL STAPLES TO BUY DURING THE NSALE
1. Camel Coat
I love a camel coat for fall because it goes with every color and always seems to pull an outfit together. This Lauren Ralph Lauren is on major sale for under $200 and so chic with the double breasted style and gold buttons (also comes in navy!). I also love this Wool & Cashmere Coat (normally $600 and now 50% off!) as well as this Sam Edelman Coat for $150 that also comes in three other great fall colors.
2. Faux Leather Leggings
As I’ve shared before, I LIVE in my leather leggings during the fall and winter months. They’re the easiest to throw on with a cozy sweater for work or a night out and oh so comfortable! My favorites are the Spanx Leggings (on sale for $64.90) but I also love this cropped style by Halogen (on sale for under $50!), as well as this BP pair for under $30!
3. Knit Dress
After sundress season is over, it’s time for knit dresses! I love how easy they are to throw on and so versatile on how you decide to style it. My favorite a part of the sale this year is this Topshop Long Sleeve Knit Midi Dress for only $35.90. I also love this Leith Sleeveless Ribbed Dress if you’re looking for one to layer over.
4. Ankle Crop Jeans
I love an ankle crop jean all year but especially in the fall. It’s a great way to show off your ankle boots or fun flats and I also think they’re ultra flattering. This Topshop Ripped Knee Pair is so chic (and under $50!) but also love this Topshop dark navy pair and these Levi’s Ribcage Jeans that are so flattering on.
5. Pajamas
I’m a pajama addict and this sale is a great time to refresh your old favorites. I love this classic (and ultra soft) set from Moonlight Dream. For under $30, it’s a great gift as well to keep on hand. I also love their full length version for the chillier months.
6. Stylish Tennis Shoes
I never was a big tennis shoe person until about two years ago when I started wearing them with just about everything from jeans to dresses to working out. My favorite Stan Smith’s are a part of the sale (wore the entire time in Paris) but also so excited to see the Veja Sneakers are also on sale!
7. Long Cardigan
I love a long cardigan for the fall because it’s the perfect layering piece on those in-between weather days. Grab this Topshop Open Knit Front Cardigan for under $45 or this Chelsea28 Open Face Duster Cardigan for under $60.
8. Cozy Sweater
Speaking of cozy pieces, I always get excited for cozy sweater season! I love this Free People one for its oversized fit so it looks great with just about everything. Some other favorites? This Topshop Cable Stitch, this Vince Cashmere Sweater and this under $50 cowl neck sweater.
9. Leather Ankle Boots
I love a heeled ankle boot for running around in the fall because not only are they chic, they’re much more comfortable than a flat or heel on a busy day. My favorite sale find has been these Ted Baker Square Heel Boots that are on major sale for $160. I also love these pointy toe Steve Madden Boots for under $80 and these under $100 snake print Marc Fisher Boots.
10. Faux Leather Jacket
A faux leather jacket never goes out of style and is the perfect piece of outerwear to take you from errands to date night. This BLANKNYC Faux Leather Moto Jacket is a cult favorite so there’s no better time to get it now for under $60! I also love this Topshop style, this fur trimmed one and this cropped Levi’s moto style one.
