There’s nothing better than escaping away to sunshine and relaxation for a few days but after a long gray winter, your body may not be totally bikini ready. Thanks to some life saving beauty products, getting ready for the beach can be quick and easy.
Today I’m sharing my favorites that I’ve been using all this week before I head to Florida on Thursday! Get ready for lots of warm weather snaps!
EXFOLIATE
During the winter, our skin can get super dry and flaky. One of the best things to do before you head into the sun (or apply sunless tanner) is to exfoliate. For my face, I rely on two different exfoliators to help with dry skin and flakiness. The L’Oreal Paris Pure Sugar Scrub Purify & Unclog is my favorite to quickly use in the shower for an extra glow. Plus its kiwi smell is amazing and doesn’t create a huge mess. For a deeper clean and exfoliate, I love the L’Oreal Paris Exfoliate & Refine Pores Pure Clay Mask. I use this about once a week and it helps with my makeup going so much smoother. Body wise, these Bliss Ingrown Eliminating Pads are great to use in between waxes to help with ingrown hairs.
SUNLESS TAN
After scrubbing away any dead skin, it’s time to get a sunny glow. About a week before, I start incorporating my favorite Jergens Natural Glow into my nighttime routine to help build a tan. It’s so easy to use and such an easy way to build a tan. If you’re looking for deeper color and a more immeditate effect, the St. Tropez Tanning Mousse is my absolute favorite. So simple to use (don’t forget the glove!) it gives the perfect sun kissed glow.
SANDAL READY
A pedicure is always necessary when you’re about to be poolside. For a quick pedicure at home, I love these Sephora Foot Masks and then swiping on one of my polish colors. My go-to’s? Essie Gel Couture in Flashed 260 and OPI Iconic Infinite Shine in Pompeii Purple.
SPF
Most importantly, remember to pack up all your SPF favorites to avoid any sunburn and keep a healthy glow.
