Paros Greece Travel Guide

PAROS, GREECE TRAVEL GUIDE

Greece has become one of the most popular travel destinations in the world, thanks to it’s thousands of islands, each with its own unique beauty. One that has grown quite popular in the last few years is Paros. With it’s stunning views, high end restaurants and hotels and charming shops, it was an incredible place to stay and explore while in Greece. A must-visit Greek island, along with Santorini and Milos, especially for first timers, I’m sharing my Paros travel guide with my best recommendations and tips for exploring this beautiful island.

HOW TO GET TO PAROS GREECE

We took the Seajets Ferry from Milos to Paros and warning, this ride was rough compared to the other ferries. Definitely recommend taking some Dramamine for the ride! There is also an airport there so can fly in as well. Once on the island, Uber is available as well as taxis and was super easy to call ahead for one, just expect them to be pretty pricy for a short drive.

WHERE TO STAY IN PAROS GREECE

Mythic Paros

One of our best decisions while staying in Paros was staying at Mythic Paros. This gorgeous luxury resort is adults only and was the ultimate place to relax. From the incredible views to the infinity pool to the delicious food and drinks, it’s the perfect resort to fully unplug and enjoy the hot Greece sun. Location wise, it’s remote but a quick 10-15 minute Uber to the water and shopping and restaurants.

WHAT TO DO IN PAROS GREECE

Shop And Explore In Naousa

Naousa is the most popular area of Paros and felt just like how I imagined Greece to be. Narrow cobblestone streets filled with stores, bars and restaurants all along the water. We had some incredible meals and shopped in some great stores such as Saline, while exploring here and wish we would have had more time!

Explore Antiparos

For a quick and fun afternoon, take the ferry from Paros to Antiparos (Tom Hanks has a home here!) to shop and explore there. The ferry is only a 7 minute ride and you buy your ticket once aboard. It runs every 20 minutes and super easy to get there and get back!

WHERE TO EAT AND DRINK IN PAROS GREECE

Mario

Located near the water, this was our favorite restaurant of the trip. More on the fancier side food wise, it still felt comfortable and relaxed. All of the dishes were unique and so flavorful, our favorite was of course the insane lobster spaghetti, which can be shared by many!

Stilvi

Tucked away in the busy streets of Naousa, this gorgeous bar and restaurant was the perfect place to grab a cocktail while we waited for our table. Super chic and the menu looked amazing as well.

Yemeni Wine Restaurant

One of the busier restaurants in Naousa and for a good reason! Make sure to book a reservation at this bustling wine restaurant and order the lamb, our favorite dish.

Siparos Seaside Restaurant

For a true seaside experience, this gorgeous restaurant is a must for sunset views and a seafood heavy dinner. Known for their salt baked fish, it was a gorgeous spot to end our stay in Greece.

Beach House Antiparos

During our visit to Antiparos, we spent the day at Beach House, a chic hotel and beach club. The food was fresh and great for a day of lounging beachside.
