One of my favorite parts about traveling is trying new restaurants and bars. From local favorites to new spots in town, testing and sharing them with all of you is one of the best things about having my blog! Nantucket was packed full of amazing food and drinks and we definitely tried as many spots as we could while there. Today’s guide will have you prepared to find the best lobster roll, cocktail and ice cream cone the island has to offer!
NANTUCKET FOOD AND DRINK GUIDE
THE BEST BREAKFAST/COFFEE IN NANTUCKET
The Downyflake:
Donuts are always a must on vacation right?! And for six for $5 you can’t say no! We picked a variety of classics like sugar and coconut to enjoy on our car ride around the island.

Handlebar Café:
For your morning coffee fix, we loved this adorable spot by the water to grab a latte to go.

Provisions:
Katie and I were both craving breakfast sandwiches one morning so we picked up some at this favorite sandwich stop. We sat by the boats with an iced coffee and sandwich (so so good!) in hand and it was the ideal start to the day. Next time, I need to try one of their famous turkey sandwiches for lunch!

Island Kitchen:
We couldn’t leave the island without one last great meal and luckily Island Kitchen was right along the way! We stopped at this charming spot and sat on the porch to enjoy some coffee and classic breakfast staples before we jumped on our plane.
BEST SPOTS FOR LUNCH/DINNER IN NANTUCKET
Met On Main:
This was our first meal when we arrived to the island and it was the perfect lunch to kick off the trip! Located right downtown, make sure to sit on the adorable blue and white back patio with a cocktail in hand.

Cru:
My favorite lobster roll of the trip goes to Cru. We had a late night dinner here, along with great cocktails and appetizers, but their buttery lobster roll was totally worth the spend!

Millie’s:
We took a drive over to Millie’s and loved everything we ate here. The perfect mix of Mexican and seafood favorites, we shared a soft shell crab po’boy, shrimp tacos and Mexican corn and it was one of my favorite meals of the trip.

Galley Beach:
For a fancier evening, head to Galley Beach for a twist on seafood favorites (I had the lobster crepes and they were incredible!). If you can’t make it for dinner though, drinks on the beach to catch the sunset are an absolute must!

Brant Point Grill:
With its huge open patio that looks over the water and lawn of the famous White Elephant Hotel, this was the ideal spot for a long lunch of lobster rolls and frose!

Greydon House:
This cozy restaurant is tucked inside the boutique hotel of the same name. We each tried different pastas here and a spicy ginger margarita and it was such an adorable spot for our final dinner of the trip.
THE BEST DRINKS/APPS/DESSERT IN NANTUCKET
The Proprietors:
Katie and I grabbed drinks and an app (homemade biscuits with warm goat cheese – so good!) here and I loved the cozy space. Everything looked amazing on the menu so this is a definite must for a full meal next time I visit.

Cisco Brewers:
For a fun afternoon, head to Cisco Brewers to enjoy live music, food trucks and sample a ton of local beers. My favorite was the Grey Lady (they even did a spin on it with blueberry vodka on top!) and it was such a relaxing afternoon activity to sit in the sun with a beer in hand!

Dune:
My favorite cocktails of the trip go to The Dune. Ever drink we had was unique and delicious (my favorite was the “Pink Slipper made of jalapeno gin, pink guava and lime) and most importantly, Instagram worthy!

The Club Car:
This island staple is a favorite for drinks thanks to their fun piano bar. They also have a gorgeous restaurant on the other side that I’m hoping to try next time!

The Nautilus:
Katie and I stopped in here for a late night drink at the bar but couldn’t resist ordering an app as well. This Asian infusion restaurant has so many delicious small plates and entrees (we got the pork buns that were incredible!) so its the perfect spot when looking for a break from seafood.

The Juice Bar:
No trip to Nantucket is complete without a visit (or two) to The Juice Bar. Their homemade ice cream and waffle cones are the perfect summer treat and a favorite with everyone in town. I got the Coffee Cake flavor and it was incredible!
It looks like you had a very delicious adventure! Lobster rolls and waffle cones, looks heavenly! xAllie
