Naadam Hoodie and Sweatpants (c/o)
It’s that time of year when everyone seems to be coming down with some sort of cold and while we all seem to be taking our Vitamin C, you just can’t avoid a sick day ever so often! That’s why I’m excited to be partnering with Scotties Facial Tissues again this season, as they are a part of my sick day essentials!
Whether you have a runny nose or an annoying cough, having Scotties tissues just an arm’s length away always is a relief when you’re not feeling great. Another reason I always have Scotties’ in my apartment is because their boxes come in a variety of designs and sizes, never being an annoying eye sore. So what else is on my sick day list?
Comfy Clothes: The minute I get home, I always switch into comfortable clothes. So on a sick day, it’s a must that I find the softest and coziest clothes to wear while spending time on the couch. My new favorite set is this gorgeous camel cashmere hoodie and sweatpants from Naadam, which truly feels like butter on your skin! I also love these sweatpants (my go-to last year) and my favorite LAKE pajamas if you decide to stay in PJs all day too.
Cozy Home Accessories: During the colder months, I love being bundled up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket and lots of candles (my all-time favorite!) to help me feel totally relaxed. I also love using my diffuser to diffuse essential oils like lavender and eucalyptus that not only smell incredible, but help with my cold as well.
Favorite Takeout and Tea: There’s no better excuse to order your favorite takeout than a sick day right?! My go-to’s are wonton soup from Vanessa’s Dumplings or Matzah Ball Soup from 2nd Ave Deli because a bowl of hot soup always seems to do the trick. I also always make sure to have tea on hand, my favorite being Ginger Turmeric from Trader Joe’s. And if able to head outside, grabbing the medicine ball drink from Starbucks is a game-changer!
All The TV: Sick days are the ideal time to binge watch the series you haven’t had time for yet or watching an old favorite movie to help you feel better. Some of my current and old favorites:
TV Shows (New and Old Favorites)
Modern Love
The Politician
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
The Office

Will & Grace
The Crown
Favorite Movies
Father Of The Bride (Part One and Part Two)
