Living in NYC, the beauty and wellness options are endless which can be a pro and con at the same time! From Botox to blowouts, no-frills to luxe treatments, I’m sharing my NYC beauty and wellness guide with all of my go-to spots!
NYC BEAUTY AND WELLNESS GUIDE:
I recently started getting Botox every few months on my forehead and in between my eyebrows and the experience has been amazing at Ever/Body. I’ve always been a fan of them for Hydrafacials and other facial treatments and I couldn’t recommend them for any cosmetic skincare help. They have a few locations around the city and just opened their UES spot this week!
If you have never been to Ever/Body and are looking to visit you can use the link below and receive 10% off your first purchase using code CARLY10
For a classic facial at a great price, Chillhouse has been my go-to for a thorough but still relaxing facial. Every staff member I have had has been great and I always leave with glowy clean skin!
I recently tried Daphne in Nolita (booked via Skoop!) and it was one of the most incredible facials I’ve ever had. Super luxe, for 90 min they did everything from facial massage, extractions, oxygen boost and more. They use all Biologique Recherche products too so if you’re looking for a true treat your self place, this is it!
If you’re looking for a great facial without breaking the bank, I always recommend Mario Badescu. Most facials are under $100 and their team is so knowledgable and gives you a great and thorough facial everytime.
Another more splurge worthy facial favorite is Joanna Vargas. A celebrity favorite, their Triple Crown Facial is perfect for a big event as it lifts your skin and gives you the most incredible glow.
One of the best parts of NYC is the amazing treatments you can get all over the city. Enter Chelsea Body Work. This is very much a no frills massage studio in Chelsea but if you are guaranteed to walk out feeling like a new person. They really get into every knot and sore muscle and for under $100 for 90 min, you can’t beat that!
I also love Chillhouse for their massages too so if you’re looking for more of a relaxing and luxe experience (at a great price) definitely recommend booking a massage here!
Now that I live in Williamsburg, this spot is my go-to no frills massage place as well with great prices and super deep massages.
If you’re ever feeling super tight or just in need of a really good stretch, STRETCH*D is a must visit. They have a few locations around the city and I love going there for an one-on-one stretch by one of their pros or their Body Roller machine. The Body Roller are infrared heated rollers moving at an optimal speed, the heat and pressure offer an acupressure massage that relieves muscle tension and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
Laser hair removal was the best money I have spent these past few years and if you’re looking to finally commit, Shira Laser is the best. They have a location in Williamsburg and if you mention my name you can get $100 off your first package!
I have always loved getting cupping done and sadly my favorite spot closed but WTHN is a close second thanks to their gorgeous space and great treatments. They also have so many other treatments like acupuncture and more so definitely a favorite to frequent.
For my hair color and cuts, I go to Genna for color and Andrew W. for cuts at Spoke & Weal Flatiron. Not only do they do an amazing job every time, they also are super nice as everyone at Spoke & Weal is so lots of great options.
Nothing beats a great blowout right? Glamsquad is my go-to when feeling down or having a special occasion thanks to their at-home services for salon worthy hair.
NYC is never lacking in nail salons and my go-to recently in Williamsburg is Diva Nails (right near Whole Foods!). Great prices, lots of color options and super clean space!
If you’re wanting a mani or pedicure at home, nothing feels more glam than one from Glamsquad!
EYEBROWS AND LASHES:
Yaz has been my go-to for brows for over seven years now! She does threading and always is helping my brows look their absolute best!
I recently started getting lash extensions this year as I don’t wear much makeup other than mascara during the week and loved my experience and results at BelleLash. Super natural looking, a comfortable experience and great pricing too!
