MY BROOKLYN APARTMENT TOUR
After moving to Williamsburg last October, I am so excited to finally reveal my full Brooklyn apartment tour! Doubling the size of our previous apartment, it has been so refreshing to have a fresh start and of course more space! Along with sharing here today, I am also so thrilled that it is also being shared on one of my favorite sites, The Everygirl! Feel free to head over there for a little Q&A after scrolling through today’s post!

BEDROOM DETAILS
Our apartment is a three bedroom apartment and in my room specifically, I wanted to make to have a true office space but also still feel calm and relaxing enough for bed. I love my canopy bed because it pops against the white walls and adds height as well to the space. I’m also a big believer in using all space in New York apartments smartly so underneath, I have large black canvas bins for extra storage.
When it came to the decor of my room, the best advice I got was from a family friend who’s apartment I have always loved. She said “Buy the things that make you happy and it will all come together.” Sometimes moving into a new place feels like you need to buy everything immediately. However, I truly took my time to buy pieces I love and also work well within the space. I did work with Havenly though, who were so great in helping me find unique pieces and share layout ideas. Highly recommend working with them if in need of design help!

DESK AND GALLERY WALL DETAILS
I shared more about my gallery wall earlier this year but it truly is one of my happiest corners of my room. I really love sitting at my desk and have tried to create a really joyful and comfortable place to work each day! My Samsung Frame TV was a splurge but so worth it in my opinion as it easily blends into the space.
Another favorite element of my room is my disco ball! It gives off the most amazing sparkle in the morning and honestly is just a fun piece I couldn’t resist!

WALK-IN CLOSET DETAILS
The one room that sold me on this apartment? My walk-in closet! Having all of my clothes organized and easy to see is the biggest blessing after years of jamming things in my old closets. May never move because I don’t want to give up this closet!

BATHROOM DETAILS
Another reason I feel very lucky for this apartment is this incredible bathroom. With having my own bathroom, I wanted to keep things neutral and relaxing. I really focused on my beauty products being super organized under the sink (more to come on that!) to make things as functional as possible. And that bathtub has officially made me a bath person! Lastly, Weezie Towels are worth every penny! The most luxurious towels that hold up so well, a bathroom must!

LIVING ROOM DETAILS
Our living room is more on the narrow side so finding the perfect pieces for the space was key. Our couch was an incredible find via FB Marketplace and we somehow manage to always squeeze a ton of us on it or around it for TV nights. We kept the accessories pretty neutral with pops of pink and orange, from velvet pillows to candle holders. The bar cart is one of my other favorite details, especially with the custom matchbook prints of our favorite bars.

KITCHEN DETAILS
My roommates and I love to cook so having space to cook and entertain was important when finding our place. I love how we all sit around the island while we cook or make drinks. One of my favorite details is our cookbook shelves! Not only do they add a fun pop of color to the space, it also makes us actually use our cookbooks! Sharing some favorites we use weekly below.
