Happy New Year friends! I had such a relaxing break with my family and friends and hope you all did as well. Excited to share what’s on the horizon for 2023 and kicking off today with my 2023 travel plans!
2022 was a HUGE year for travel and it was so fun to go back to some favorite cities but also lots of new ones too. Here’s a little 2022 recap if you’re in need of a travel guide and if I don’t have one linked, I save all my travel recaps in my highlights on Instagram as well.

MY 2023 TRAVEL PLANS
PARIS/BORDEAUX
I’m SO excited to go back to Paris this February and have the best guide there is, my friend Meghan! Her Paris, Perfected business is bringing her to France for the whole month and I’m excited to spend a few days with her in Paris and Bordeaux soaking up all things French.
LONDON/THE COTSWOLDS
Meghan and I also have another trip planned back to London for May! We had the absolute best time last year visiting during the Flower Show so we couldn’t resist going back for it. This time, we will be adding a few days to The Cotswolds as well and I can’t wait to explore the English countryside.
KIAWAH ISLAND, SC
It’s a big wedding year for me this year as my sister is getting married this June! We’ll be kicking off all the wedding fun at her bachelorette party on Kiawah Island in South Carolina, with a night in Charleston as well. I helped plan Katie‘s bachelorette in Charleston a few years back so will be for sure sharing an updated guide after the trip!
BLUE RIDGE, GA
My good friend Grace is also getting married this June so it will be back-to-back bachelorette party fun in April! Expect lots of wedding guest and maid of honor content this spring and early summer!
CHICAGO
I have lots of friends in Chicago, including my sister, so I’ll be back here again for her bridal shower in May! I always love trying new spots when I’m in town so a new guide to come this summer!
TRAVERSE CITY, MI
And of course, will be back in my hometown for my sister’s wedding in June! While June will be all the wedding fun, hoping to make it back home for some downtime later in the summer too.
While those are the only for sure confirmed plans so far, I am still brainstorming a warm weather escape (or two!) for this winter as well as a European trip for September again. Last year had a lot of trips pop up and I’m excited to see what places I could end up visiting on a whim this year!
I have a two week trip through Michigan planned: Holland, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Mackinac Island, and Frankenmuth..all lodging is booked (including Delamar and Grand Hotel!!-ekk) and I marked your TC guide for suggestions, but I welcome any more leads on things to do and where to eat.drink..going with my husband- no kids.
