It’s been a HOT summer here in NYC and across the country and I’ve found myself reaching for my 10 summer essentials weekly. From sunscreen to lightweight clothes, sharing my summer essentials below!
MY 10 SUMMER ESSENTIALS:
1. Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress
No shock here, but two summers in a row this has been my most worn item. It’s easy to slip on in the mornings and great for days at my desk or running around the hot city.
2. TULA Protect + Glow Daily Sunscreen
My skincare is very simple in the summer and includes SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic and then adding TULA sunscreen. I love this sunscreen because it’s super lightweight, doesn’t clog my pores and also gives my skin a really pretty glow.
3. Gold Birkenstock Slide Sandals
I’ve officially become a Birkenstock fan thanks to how comfortable they are for my daily walks! I love the gold for a fun twist and can’t recommend these enough for a supportive sandal.
4. A New Day Fanny Pack
When I’m running errands or on a walk, I like wearing this fanny pack as it’s easy to hold everything and I don’t have to worry about carrying a bag on a hot day.
5. Hill House Ellie Nap Dress
The summer of the Nap Dress! My second most worn item in my closet, this dress is lightweight and easy to throw on, but still nice enough for last minute drinks. Grab them ASAP as sizes go fast!
6. Glamsquad Essentially Multitasking Oil
When it’s too hot to blow dry my hair, my go-to summer hairstyle is a slicked back high ponytail or low bun. This multitasking oil helps keep hair in place and look shiny and sleek.
7. Girlfriend Paloma Bra and Skort
I wanted another option to the Exercise Dress and this set from Girlfriend has been the perfect combo. I’m a huge fan of Girlfriend already and love that I can mix and match these pieces or wear together on a hot day.
8. Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Flashed
I would say for about 95% of the summer, this is the color I am wearing on my nails and toes. It’s the perfect poppy red orange that looks great with a tan and it holds up really well, even with trips to the beach.
9. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
I shared about my love for this product in my makeup routine post but it really is my favorite to use in the summer. A little bit goes a long way and gives you glowy sunkissed summer skin.
10. Ice Roller
I am very prone to swelling when it’s hot out and after too many cocktails on a hot day, this is a must to end or start the day with.
