I have never been so happy to say happy New Year to you all! It’s so good to see 2021 finally here. While things aren’t magically changing, I feel optimistic for the first time in a while thanks to the vaccine and I’m trying to keep that mindset after a hard year.
I remember the beginning of last year really struggling with feeling like not much in my life had changed. I had been at the same job for almost five years, same apartment, same routine and I didn’t know where to begin to start making changes in my life. Then March came and bam! All the change I could never have imagined pretty much all happened almost at once.
This year brought upon a change in everyone, both good and bad. The changes I’ve been able to make in my life have primarily been for the positive and I feel extremely lucky to say that. I know this year was so painful for so many and having a safe place to live and to be healthy and my friends and family be as well is truly the biggest blessing of it all. I’m grateful for the frontline workers who are working harder than anyone. And most of all, I am grateful we begin to see change for the better in our country, in our households and in our world.
When looking back at my most popular posts of 2020, I can see you were all looking for more ways to bring joy inside your homes, how to carve out time for yourself and little moments of happiness. I hope going into 2021 I can continue to make this space a positive and inspiring place for you all. Thank you for always supporting me and being my little moment of happiness too!
