The best way to get a group together? Throw a wine and cheese party! I’m all about making a night in a little more fun than just takeout so today, I’m sharing my easy entertaining tips this fall. What I love about AVA Grace is not only the wine wonderful, I love how pretty the bottles are to have displayed out on a table or chilling in an ice bucket. For our rooftop get together, we went with cold and crisp Pinot Grigio and Sauvingon Blanc that paired perfectly with our fall cheese board.
When it comes to making a cheese board, I love to make sure not only is there a variety of options for people, but also that the board is beautifully displayed and appealing. I also like to play up the flavors of the season, whether that’s a seasonal cheese, cracker or fruit. Some favorite fall snacks I added? Pumpkin and cranberry crackers, toasted pumpkin seeds, dried apricots and pomegranate seeds. Here’s my easy cheat sheet for when you’re shopping for your supplies:
3-4 varieties of cheeses (I look for a sharp, soft and then an in-between cheese)
Seasonal fruit and berries
Two varieties of meat like a prosciutto and salami
2-3 varieties of crackers
2-3 dried fruits and nuts (great for filling empty spots on the boards)
Pickles or olives
Other easy entertaining must haves? Fresh flowers (I went with gorgeous burgundy dahlias) and a pop of print or color on your table, like this plaid throw! Make sure to keep a bottle of AVA Grace chilled and ready to go for your next get together!

i think it is funny that you are promoting a wine and cheese party but somehow the guests are only touching the wine
