Fall is my favorite time in NYC, especially in October with all things Halloween! I’m not into scary Halloween things but I do love decorated doorsteps and festive treats and NYC is filled with that! Sharing five things to do in NYC this Halloween weekend!
FIVE THINGS TO DO IN NYC THIS HALLOWEEN
1. Take A Decorations Walk Through The West Village
The best Halloween and fall decorations in my opinion are in the West Village. With the falling leaves and charming brownstones, it feels straight out of a movie walking through the neighborhoods! Some favorite streets include Bank Street and Grove Court (shared some favorites here!) for some amazing decorations!
2. Get A Festive Treat
Halloween is all about sugar so make sure to get a festive treat! I love Chip City‘s Halloween and fall cookies (I think they’re better than Levain!) or Magnolia Bakery‘s Halloween cupcakes. It’s also a must to get a pumpkin spice latte for walking around and Partners Coffee has my favorite this time of year!
3. Walk Through Central Park And Uptown
There is nothing more picture perfect than Central Park in the fall. Have your “Meg Ryan Fall” day and have a picnic in the park and then walk through the Upper East (a great list here!) and Upper Westside for some epic Halloween decorations!
4. Go To A Showing Of Rocky Horror Picture Show
I’ve gone to showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show a few times in NYC and it’s always such a fun time. There is a full cast that acts out the movie in the theater and it’s a quirky fun way to celebrate the holiday!
5. Grab A Pumpkin Drink
I love how everyone embraces all things pumpkin this time of year and there’s so many fun drinks and meals around the city this weekend! Infatuation shared a great list but I think I’ll have to stop by my favorite Talea Beer Co. for a pumpkin beer this weekend!
