Every time I post about being in 30A, I’m always flooded with DMs and comments about how much people love visiting there as well. I’ve shared my full guide before but with the area constantly expanding I wanted to highlight a few new favorite spots that didn’t make my original guide!

30A Travel Guide: 5 Places to Visit
If you’re not familiar with 30A, it’s almost thirty miles that run along the Gulf of Mexico coastline and composed of white sugar-sand beaches, charming towns and amazing restaurants and shops. My family has been visiting this area for almost twenty years, and my uncle and aunt live there permanently now so we make sure to have a mini “spring break” each March to get our fix in! The towns that make up most of 30A (and where we frequent the most) are Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Watersound and Inlet Beach. They are all only a few miles apart from each other and easy to get to via bike!
While the temperatures are not always the warmest in March (expect around mid to high 60s), you are always guaranteed cotton candy sunsets, great food and lots of relaxation! And now for a few of my favorite new spots!
Five Daughters Bakery:
I’ve tried a lot of different donuts and I think the ones from Five Daughters may take the cake (literally) as my absolute favorites! One of our favorite morning activities while in 30A is to bike into downtown Seaside and pick up donuts from their adorable airstream right in the center of town and then grab coffee from Avida
Pescado:
One of the reasons I love 30A so much is because of the insane cotton candy sunsets almost every night and this rooftop spot in Rosemary Beach is the perfect place to see them! It’s a tiny space but if you get there early enough, you’ll be able to grab a seat at the bar (or make a reservation for a table too!). My guava margarita was amazing and was so fun to be above all the gorgeous houses for happy hour.
George’s:
George’s is definitely not a new spot in 30A but it was surprisingly my first time visiting! This Alys Beach restaurant is perfect for all groups (they have a ton of outdoor seating under the twinkle lights), and we loved our Southern meal of shrimp, grits and hush puppies. A great spot to try when avoiding busy downtown Seaside during spring break.
Café Thirty-A:
Another classic spot that I forgot to include in my original 30A guide is Café Thirty-A! I remember coming here with my entire family on one of our first visits to Seaside and its still a guaranteed great meal years later. The space is one of the larger restaurants in town so great for big families visiting.
The Hub:
I always love an area that has a ton of options and activities and The Hub (right near Watersound) is just that! With a huge outdoor movie screen, a ton of picnic tables and lots of different food and drink spots, this is the ideal spot for families and big groups to come. There also is some shops for a little afternoon shopping (with a cocktail in hand!) including country singer Luke Bryan’s cigar shop “Shore Thing” since he has a home in the area as well!

WHAT I WORE IN 30A:
With the temperatures going from chilly to sunny, it’s all about the layers when in 30A! Things I always make sure are in my suitcase? White jeans, a cozy cable knit sweater, colorful prints from Persifor and a classic shift dress, like this gorgeous one from Lilly Pulitzer!
Loved all your blogs about 30-A, It was a great week. Specically since I was sharing it with my favorite people!
