The city is alive more than ever and that means supporting Broadway should be at the top of your list! Whether coming to visit or a local, here are my picks for five Broadway shows to see this spring in NYC!
FIVE BROADWAY SHOWS TO SEE THIS SPRING IN NYC:
1. MOULIN ROUGE!
Moulin Rouge! opened before COVID and I finally got to see the show this past November for my 30th birthday. I recently went again and the show is SO fun. The sets, costumes and dancing are incredible along with Aaron Tveit as the star singing all your favorite pop love songs.
2. THE MUSIC MAN
The must have Broadway ticket this season is The Music Man starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster. Tickets are hard to get but hoping I get to see this classic musical soon!
3. FUNNY GIRL
Another must have ticket is the revival of Funny Girl starring Beanie Feldstein! Funny Girl is one of my favorite musicals so I can’t wait to see it on stage when it opens later this spring.
4. COMPANY
Another revival favorite on Broadway right now is Stephen Sondheim’s Company. I’m hoping to grab tickets this month and to finally see Broadway legend Patti Lupone on stage too!
5. MR. SATURDAY NIGHT
This new musical is written and starring Billy Crystal about being a funny man, a family man, and getting a second chance at both. The show begins previews end of March and I just got tickets with Meghan so review to come!
Need to come back to the city to see one of these! We saw Diana back in November and it was…. not good. ha!
