Looking back at 2019, there’s a lot of items that quickly became can’t live without items for me. This year was about investing in quality products that will not only last, but also make my life easier and will be something I’ll hopefully still be using years to come! Today I’m rounding up my favorite items I found in 2019 and would love to know if you purchased anything this year I recommended and loved it too!
Naadam Cashmere Set: To say I’ve been living in this set since I got it this fall would be an understatement. Cozy without being too hot, this is the perfect weekend and travel set to keep you comfortable in and look presentable too. I love the camel but think I may need the black set too!
Commando Faux Leather Leggings: My winter uniform consists of big sweaters and leather leggings so I couldn’t forget including these on my list! Not only do they stay tight and not fall down, they have a great shiny leather look which automatically makes them look more professional and chic.
Sarah Flint Heels: I never believed there was a comfortable high heel until I got my first pair of Sarah Flint heels. I truly have never worn a more comfortable pair of shoes (especially heels!) and it will now be my go-to for any heels in the future. Plus! Use code BAHILL50 for $50 off your order!
Sam Edelman Boots: I just got these for Christmas but they already have become such a game changer in my winter wardrobe. I always struggled with what shoes to wear with leggings and these are the perfect boot to wear. They give a simple sweater and leggings look a bit of an edge and are so comfortable, making them easy to run around town in.
Everlane Kick Crop Jeans: When you find the perfect pair of jeans, you have to buy it in three colors right?! That’s what I did after trying this pair earlier this year and I can’t rave enough about the quality, fit and most importantly the price ($78!).
Chanel Bag: While I know this isn’t the most realistic purchase, this was such a dream come true to buy this year while I was in Paris. I worked super hard this year to save money for it and buying it in the original Chanel store with my family was the icing on the cake. While scared at first to use it, I’ve become comfortable wearing it now and know this will be a piece I wear consistently for the years to come.
Tan-Luxe THE FACE Illuminating Drops: I started adding these drops to my moisturizer in the morning once a week and love the subtle glow it gives my skin instantly on weeks I’m feeling a little pale. Since you’re only using a few drops too, the spend is so worth it as the bottlereally does last.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: The biggest game changer in my makeup routine this year, I can’t get over how glowy it makes my skin. This highlighter/CC cream hybrid can be applied over or under foundation and wherever you want an extra glow. I personally swipe it on all over my face and then layer with my foundation to give a really gorgeous healthy glow. Truly have never gotten so many compliments about my skin the week I started using it!
Headbands: A trend I was happy to see return this year was headbands. While they’re not as crazy as the Blair Waldorf inspired ones I used to wear in high school, they have made my morning routine so much easier knowing I can use them to help fix a bad hair day. I love this pack for a ton of colors and under $10 or if looking for an extra comfortable and more glam one, this has been a favorite of the year.
Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer: GAME CHANGER. I’ve never been able to give myself a blowout until now. This blow dryer brushmakes my hair so smooth and gives me great volume within 10 minutes. Plus it’s under $60!
Dyson V7 Motorhead Cordless Vacuum: You know you’re officially getting old whenyou’re getting excited about a vacuum but this one has changed my life. Having it be cordless allows me to vacuum so much easier in our apartment that I find myself vacuuming almost every day. And an extra clean apartment is always a plus in my books!
Kneading Massage Pillow: As someone who always seems to have an ache and pain no matter what, this impulse buy from Amazon has become a must now. Perfect to use while watching TV at night, this at home massager is heated and can get into any of those deep knots after a long day.
