There really isn’t anything more magical than NYC in the fall. I’ve been able to really embrace it this year thanks to more time in the city and gorgeous fall weather. Now with the leaves in full peak, there’s no better time to explore safely! Whether you’re wandering through downtown or heading up to the UES, here are my favorite 5 places in NYC to take pictures this fall!
5 PLACES TO TAKE PICTURES IN NYC THIS FALL
The number one spot is always Central Park for me in the fall. From Bow Bridge to Sheep’s Meadow, it truly feels like a movie scene this time of year. Highly recommend heading up for a sunny afternoon to walk around and have a fall picnic!
During the fall, I love wandering around the West Village for hours thanks to everyone’s efforts of decorating their stoops! Even after Halloween, the streets are lined with mums, pumpkins and all things fall. Grab a coffee one morning and take a long walk through the area!
Pier 17 was a favorite place of mine to visit when I lived in Fidi thanks to the gorgeous views, great restaurants and lots of space to explore and soak up fresh air. Highly recommend making a visit here in the fall thanks to their pumpkin arch and other fun autumn activities!
If you’re in Brooklyn, a fall day at Prospect Park is always a good idea. Filled with lots of open space, colorful fall trees and walking paths, it’s the ideal place to spend a fall Saturday.
One of my favorite hidden gems in NYC is Grove Court, which is tucked in on the corner of Grove and Bedford Street. While it’s so cute all year round, I love it in the fall thanks to their many pumpkins and falling leaves.
