For me, the change of seasons every year comes the undeniable urge to fill up my closet with all new pieces! However, styling these looks on the streets of Soho inspired me to simplify my wardrobe and select pieces that I can easily layer and mix in with the items I already own. Yesterday on Glitter Guide, we partnered with American Eagle Outfitters to share these four key pieces, and today, I’m bringing these looks to the blog as well to help kick off fall wardrobe inspiration.
The Bomber Jacket
This fall, it’s all about the Classic Bomber Jacket. Whether paired with a Mock T-Shirt Dress and booties or jeans and a tee, it’s become one of the most versatile items in our closet. It’s also super lightweight, making it ideal for these days that start off chilly and warm up through the day.
The Lace-Up Sweater
A cozy sweater is always a favorite for fall, but this season, we love the subtle twist AEO has given to this cream waffle-knit Lace-Up Sweater. The lace-up details make the look date-night-ready, while the lightweight material makes it easy to throw on for errands and relaxing as well.
The Suede Mini
From the high-waist fit to the scalloped details, this Snap-Front Mini Skirt has quickly become our favorite item to dress up or dress down for fall. We love the ’70s vibe and fun details, like the buttons up the front and suede fabric, which make this a standout look when held up against practically anything else in our closets. This skirt is currently sold out but we’ve linked some I love this suede option as well.
The Colored Jeans
While a pair of classic blue jeans is essential, we love the idea of incorporating colored denim into your wardrobe this fall. These Sateen x4 Jeggings in blush pink complement both neutral and bold pieces, making it easy to mix in with all our favorite classic fall staples, like a Striped T-Shirt and Cutout Ankle Booties. Right now through 10/5 you can buy 1 and get 50% off all AEO jeans at AE.com!
