This past week has been an eye opening experience to say the least. I am focused on making changes in the way I work, learn and live to become a better anti-racist ally and one of those ways is making sure my Instagram feed is more diverse. I was so thrilled to see the great responses from you all yesterday when I shared black female influencers to follow on my stories so I wanted to expand the list today of stylish women I have loved following.
15 Black Female Influencers To Follow:

@VenitaAspen
Venita is a Charleston based influencer as well a creative director of her own creative agency. I love her feminine and colorful style and I’ve loved following her these last few months after we connected on a virtual needlepointing night!

@DaniellePrescod
I have learned so much from following Danielle this past week. She has shared so many great resources and opened my eyes to so many brands who have not been diverse in the past. She also has incredible style and shares great fitness and wellness tips!

@_HappyGoCurly_
Ailsa is one of the most positive and kind people on social media. She has been such a great supporter of mine and she is such a joy to have on my daily feed. Along with having great style she is also a certified nurse midwife so a great resource for any moms or moms-to-be!

@ShadesOfPinck
Megan is a new follow for me and I’m so glad to have found her! Based in South Carolina, I love her feminine style and she shares some incredible travel content and I can’t wait to see where she goes next (when we can finally travel again!)

@HillHouseVintage
Paula pretty much lives my dream life. She lives in the English countryside in the most gorgeous home and has impeccable style and eye for design. Her feed is filled with so much inspiration and lots of things I love like amazing clothes, cute animals and flowers.

@WaitYouNeedThis
I have loved following Janelle for a few months now after I worked with on a campaign and she is so effortlessly chic. I love how she puts a new spin on certain pieces and is such a great follow for NYC street style.

@ChrissyFord
A contributor for Harper’s Bazaar, Chrissy Rutherford not only speaks and writes so beautifully but she is also one of the chicest woman to follow. If you haven’t watched this video yet, it’s an absolute must.

@NYCxClothes
Sisters Shelcy and Christy are NYC based fashion influencers and I’m so excited to have found them this week. They have gorgeous style and a beautiful way of story telling and look forward to following them more.

@KarenBritchick
I found Karen’s page through Krystal Bick and so glad I did. Karen is one of the most stylish women on my feed and I love her YouTube channel as well for great fashion, home and daily vlog content.

@ShionaT
Shiona Turini is a stylist, costume designer and fashion consultant, styling many amazing magazine covers and shows like Insecure. With her impeccable eye for fashion, she of course has incredible personal style and I love following her for an inside look on how she chooses designers and pieces to style with.

@AuroraJames
Aurora is the founder and designer behind luxury shoe and accessories brand Brother Vellies. There used to be a Brother Vellies store in my neighborhood and I always loved popping into to obsess over their beautiful pieces. Along with her impeccable style, Aurora is helping make incredible changes, such as the 15 Percent Pledge which is calling on major retailers to pledge 15% of their shelf space to black-owned businesses.

@ElaineWelterworth
Elaine is the former EIC of Teen Vogue, a judge on Project Runway and author. I have been following her for a few years now and love to see her career evolve and be such an important voice in the fashion industry. She also recently got married in the most gorgeous Brooklyn stoop wedding in the midst of Covid so it’s a must to take a look!

@SimplyGailG
I met Gail this past December at a press event and I’ve really loved getting to follow her and learn more about her these past few months. I’m so inspired by moms balancing it all in NYC and Gail shares an honest and colorful look inside to her life!

@HannahBronfman
I have followed Hannah for many years now and she is such an amazing resource for wellness and fitness. She juggles many hats as an influencer, DJ, business woman and gives such an honest and open look into her life.

@ShayMone
Houston based Shay is another new follow for me and I am so obsessed with her adorable family. She has incredible style and I love seeing how she styles different pieces and also how she dresses her cute kids too.
Obsessed with Danielle- I saw her originally on Carly The Prepster. You don’t see a lot of black women in the equestrian world so I love that she is in that sphere.
