When it comes to planning a bachelorette party, one of the most important factors is the theme! Planning and preparing for a bachelorette party can be overwhelming, whether you’re the maid of honor, guest or bride. From decor to location to activities, narrowing down the options can be tricky so that’s why choosing a theme is key! A theme for the party can help make decision-making for the rest of the elements for the party easier and give you easy guidance on putting together the perfect agenda. Bachelorette party themes are getting more creative each year, and so today, I’m sharing a round-up of unique bachelorette party themes that you should consider for your celebrations!
10 UNIQUE BACHELORETTE PARTY THEMES
1. Aperitivo Before The Altar
Kicking off with the theme I did for my sister’s bachelorette party this past spring! With my sister heading to Italy for her honeymoon, I wanted to play that up and chose a theme that could be carried easily throughout the weekend. Some key elements that brought the theme to life? An Aperol Spritz and Negroni cocktail bar, an Italian dinner at the house, custom sweatshirts, branding on cups, signs and matches and all of us girls colorfully dressed for our night out!
2. Camp Bride
For my friend Grace’s bachelorette party, her sisters truly brought to life The Parent Trap with a camp inspired theme for the weekend. Our house was on a lake and truly felt like we were at summer camp so from the Camp Walden inspired t-shirts, the relay races and decor, we truly were transported to feeling like Hallie and Annie!
3. On Cloud Nine
For the bride who doesn’t want to be too theme focused but still make it a cohesive weekend, I love the theme of “On Cloud Nine.” Focus on a color scheme of soft blues and whites, a pajama party night and overall, a cozy weekend with your girls!
4. Coastal Grandmother
For the bride who loves Nancy Meyers, rom coms and a clam bake, this is the theme for her. I love this one if you’re renting a cottage and can really play up the coastal vibes. Have a movie marathon, drink lots of wine and have a chef come to the house for a chic night at home!
5. Tennis & Tinis
A country club theme with a twist, this is for the bride who loves a little bit extra. Have a tennis match, a martini making class and custom branding playing up the theme for your future housewife.
6. Botanical Bride
For the girl who’s all about the florals, I love the idea of a botanical bachelorette weekend. Dress up in floral prints, have a flower arrangement class and serve up cocktails with edible florals.
7. Come On Barbie Let’s Bach Party
This summer is all about Barbie and for the bride who loves pink, this is the perfect theme! For your night out, have everyone in pink, dress up as famous Barbie’s and go above and beyond with the Barbie branding.
8. Studio 54
For the bride who loves all things sparkly and glam, a Studio 54 weekend is a chic way to bring disco glam to life. Think disco balls, a 70s playlist and glittery looks for your night out!
8. Margs and Matrimony
If you’re heading to Mexico or another tropical spot, play up the local vibes with margs and matrimony! Soak up the warm weather with a boat and beach day, a tequila tasting and an authentic Mexican dinner at the house.
9. Bright and Bold Bride
Another fun theme that is more about the color and feel is bright and bold bride. Think neons and bright colors with a touch of modern details. This is a great theme to play up your location like Palm Springs, Scottsdale or Miami!
10. My Big Fat Greek Bachelorette
Is your bride heading to Greece for her honeymoon? Get the celebrations starting early with a Greek themed bachelorette party! Have a Mamma Mia! inspired disco night, a movie night with My Big Fat Greek Wedding and have a boat day with all your favorite Greek food.
