Fall is my favorite time of year to dress for because it’s all about classic staples, layering and finding new ways to wear favorites pieces in my closet. That’s why today’s post is all about shopping the best fall essentials under $100, thanks to brands like H&M and J. Crew making classic pieces for a great price.
10 FALL ESSENTIALS UNDER $100:
1. Cashmere Sweater
One of the best investments you can make for fall is a classic cashmere sweater. So many brands, such as J. Crew, NAADAM and Everlane (as seen above!) make incredible classic cashmere crewneck sweaters all under $100.
2. Cropped Jeans
I prefer an ankle length cropped jean all year round, but especially in the fall. This is because it’s the perfect length to wear with ankle boots, show off your favorite flats or with a pair of leather tennis shoes. This pair from Everlane has been my go-to for years but also love this distressed pair from H&M for under $40.
3. Leather Slip On Mules
I love a shoe I can easily slip on but still feel professional and comfortable in and for fall, that’s a leather mule. While my Gucci slides aren’t under $100, they are 100% worth the investment for me as I wear them almost 5x a week in the fall! 4. Slip Skirt
I love how versatile a slip skirt is for the fall (and comfortable!). Try pairing with a cozy oversized sweater and ballet flats or with leather ankle boots and a graphic tee. Another great piece is a slip dress and love how you can easily switch it from dress to skirt by adding a top over it!
5. Boyfriend Blazer
A boyfriend blazer is my favorite piece in the fall because it can easily transform any outfit. Whatever your style is, adding an oversized blazer is such a chic way to tie together a look whether keeping it classic with a tee and jeans or with a graphic tee and leather leggings.
6. Suede Boots
Bootie season has arrived! I love a suede boot to contrast all the leather and denim I wear in the fall, especially a cognac suede boot. From Old Navy to Vince Camuto, there’s so many pairs for a great price!
7. Leather Jacket
My must have jacket for fall, a leather jacket always makes an outfit seem a little more cool. Pair over a slip dress for date night or with a cashmere sweater for work, it’s a staple you’ll wear year after year.
8. Sweater Dress
I’m all about keeping things easy and a sweater dress is the easiest item for sure in the fall! Throw on with everything from over the knee boots to tennis shoes and you’ll be ready for any event that day!
9. Cozy Cardigan
I never would have thought a cardigan would be one of my must-haves until I tried this style from Everlane last year and now I’m obsessed! It’s a great staple to throw on over any of your dresses or even a tee to make them fall ready. 10. Headband
2020 is about keeping things simple and having a chic headband on hand is the easiest way to feel pulled together on the days you don’t want to do your hair. From leather to plaid to silk, there’s so many cute styles you can have this season!
